What's up with the name of the new site - 78four? Years ago I was reading in Psalms, and I came across a chapter and a verse that stuck with me. Psalm 78:1-4 says:
"Give ear, O my people, to my teaching; incline your ears to the words of my mouth! I will open my mouth in a parable; I will utter dark sayings from of old, things that we have heard and known, that our fathers have told us. We will not hide them from their children, but tell to the coming generation the glorious deeds of the Lord, and his might, and the wonders that he has done."
I immediately resonated with verse 4, specifically the phrase "tell to the coming generation." What a great verse for us as youth workers to remind ourselves of our calling and purpose in life, to tell a young generation of students the Good News about Jesus!
So I've treasured that verse in my heart, and it felt so perfect as the name of this new site! I hope you'll partner with me here at 78four in telling the coming generation the glorious deeds of the Lord, and his might, and the wonders that he has done!
